Danielle Downey was born in Rochester, NY but resides in Tampa FL.

In her first year on the pro circuit she won the Lima Memorial Hospital FUTURES Golf Classic. It proved to be a comfortable location for Danielle as she followed that up the very next year with a tie for 2nd and went on to earn her non-exempt status for the LPGA.
